This policy explains what information ShulGrants collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. It applies to this website and to the ShulGrants workspace application.
Privacy preferences
Choose whether this website may use optional analytics. You can allow it, or change or withdraw your choice at any time. Essential sign-in and security storage is not affected.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, the email address your account signs in with, your organization name, role, and multi-factor authentication enrollment status.
- Acceptance records: when you create an account we record that you agreed to the Terms of Service and acknowledged this Privacy Policy, together with the version of each document and the date and time.
- Workspace content: the grant, task, procurement, vendor, expense, reimbursement, document, and notification records your organization enters.
- Activity records: administrative, approval, and financial actions recorded for audit purposes, including who acted and when.
- Messages you send us through the contact form: your name, email address, organization name if provided, and the content of your message.
- Billing information handled by our payment processor. ShulGrants does not store full payment-card details.
How we use information
We use information to operate the workspace, authenticate people, enforce membership and role controls, send notifications and reminders you have configured, provide support, process subscription billing, and protect the service against misuse.
Separation between organizations
Each organization's records are isolated at the data layer. One organization cannot read another organization's workspace content.
Service providers
We rely on providers for application hosting and database services, transactional email delivery, and subscription payment processing. They receive only what is needed to perform those functions.
Retention
Workspace content is retained while your organization's workspace exists, including after a trial or subscription ends, so records remain available for audit and reactivation. Organizations may request deletion of their workspace.
Your choices
- Update your account details and notification preferences in the workspace.
- Export your organization's reports and records.
- Ask an owner to remove a member's access.
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the workspace secure. Those are always active and are unaffected by the choice below.
With your permission we also use Google Analytics on this website. Analytics cookies are only set, and analytics information is only sent, after you choose “Allow analytics.” Until then, and if you choose “Essential only,” no analytics information is collected.
When analytics is allowed, the general categories collected are: the page viewed, device and browser information, an approximate geographic area, the referring page, and interaction events such as opening a page or selecting “Start Free Trial.”
We use this to understand how the public website is used, to improve the signup experience, and to see which areas of the product are adopted, at a category level only.
We do not intentionally send grant content, documents, file names, task descriptions, organization names, organization domains, email addresses, names, financial amounts, database identifiers, search terms, form contents, or authentication information to Google Analytics. Pages inside a workspace are reported only as a general feature area such as “Grants” or “Documents,” with record identifiers replaced before anything is sent. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features, Google Signals, ads personalization, remarketing, demographic profiling, or a user identifier.
You can change or withdraw this choice at any time using “Manage cookie preferences” in the Privacy preferences section above. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection. Google's handling of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and see also Google Analytics and privacy. Analytics information is kept by Google Analytics for the retention period set on our Analytics property, after which event-level records expire automatically.
Children
ShulGrants is intended for organizational use by adults.
